The BMV Series of antennas are designed for use in are found in critical communications applications and environments, such as defence and ground to air communication, and the full band, unity gain performance lends itself to other use cases such as control stations.
The BMV-136160 is a stainless steel, broadband, unity gain, monocone antenna offering full band coverage for the VHF Air Band. The design is rugged and long lasting, with stainless steel radials which screw into a heavy duty chrome plated hub, the design will withstand even the most enduring and extreme environments. The antennas are DC grounded for superior lightning protection and the reduction of precipitation static noise.
