The Motorola MOTOTRBO R5 is classified Intrinsically Safe when ordered with TIA-4950 Option (QA09885AB) which also replaces the battery with the PMNN4890 TIA-4950 battery.
HAZ LOC is certified by UL to standard UL 913 5th Edition.
